Descaling rolls are made of tungsten carbide or steel and are used for the 
mechanical descaling of entry rod in reduction mills.

Stress relieving rolls are made of tungsten carbide to improve the mechanical

characteristics of the cold rolled wire.

The roll-straightening process is a cold-forming process that uses rollers to 
provide uniform bending of wire and/or rod material to change its shape and 
possible other characteristics for use in subsequent processing.
